“In our schools we allow the children to use their spontaneous activity by offering them objects which call for movements appropriate to their stage of development; in this way they learn through doing. This is their work, and their concentration and perseverance is astonishing.”

Application & Enrollment Items to Know:
Our primary program serves children ages 3-6. All students must be fully toilet trained to attend. All of our classrooms are mixed ages, according to the Montessori Method, with 3, 4, 5, and 6 year olds in each room.
Adding your student to the waiting pool is the first step in the application process - click here to complete the Waiting Pool Form.
Our program serves students ages 3-6 who are toilet trained.
There is no waiting pool fee.
Our school years begin in August and end in May (for our 10 month program) or July (for our 12 month program) of the following year.
Enrollment depends on many factors - the waiting pool is not strictly first come first serve.
We recommend adding your student to the waiting pool as soon as possible, for the school year in which your student will be 3 years old in August.
Tours are an important step in the application process, and are available via Zoom or in person after the office has received your student’s Waiting Pool form.
We admit students all summer long to begin in August if we have changes to our current enrollment that creates availability.
We also admit students until February of each school year if we have availability.
If we do not anticipate that we can admit your student for the requested school year, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Please add email addresses ending in @fairbanksmontessori.org to your safe email list so that you do not miss invitations and updates from us.
Thank you for your interest in Fairbanks Montessori, we look forward to meeting you and showing you our school.
