Welcome to Fairbanks Montessori Pre-School and Kindergarten, also known as Fairbanks Montessori School (FMS). We are Fairbanks’ only Montessori preschool with a 45-year history in the Alaskan Interior. Our goal is to “build a better world one student at a time” by employing Montessori teaching methods which encourage creativity, academic skills & success, respect for self & others, self-discipline, independence, and enthusiasm for learning. Our school has its rich history because parents such as yourselves have invested in your children’s early childhood education at FMS. Our certified Montessori teachers and their assistants provide a stimulating, loving environment for your child to explore his or her world.
